Meet the Owner and Operator of Power Surge Electric
Hi, I'm Tyler Beene, owner and operator of Power Surge Electric. I've been working in the electrical industry for over 11 years, building a deep understanding of everything from residential wiring to the power grid itself.
I began my career with Local Union 716, where I went through their apprenticeship program and spent seven years learning the trade. During that time, I earned my Journeyman License and developed a strong foundation in electrical work.
Four years ago, I joined CenterPoint Energy to expand my expertise and gain experience on the lineman side of the electrical grid. While working there, I earned my Master Electrician License and started Power Surge Electric with a vision: to bring together both sides of the electrical world — the inside of your home and the outside grid — to provide the best service possible.
Because of this unique background, I can quickly determine whether an issue is coming from your home's system or the utility company. This saves you both time and money by ensuring you get the right solution the first time.
At Power Surge Electric, I treat every project as if I were working on my own home. My goal is to be straightforward and transparent, helping you understand what needs to be done, why it matters, and the most cost-effective way to do it. I value honesty and efficiency, and I'm here to help you make informed decisions about your electrical needs.
When I'm not keeping the lights on, you'll find me barbecuing, hunting, or fishing. As our company continues to grow, I look forward to connecting with our community — maybe even swapping deer hunting stories or fishing tales over some good food.
